The gap
The world Indian children grow up in has shifted significantly — and the curriculum available to most Indian Sunday schools has not kept pace. In a post-COVID, AI-shaped world, children are asking new questions: about faith and uncertainty, about identity in a digital age, about what Christianity has to do with the pressures and noise of contemporary Indian life.
Teachers and parents have done what they can with what exists. It is a gap of pace — the world has moved, and the materials have not.
Seedbed is a response to that gap — a serious attempt to build something made for this generation, for this moment, from the ground up.
What Seedbed is built on

Scripture first
Every lesson is built around a biblical text — not a theme illustrated by Scripture, but Scripture that teaches. The whole Bible, across all five age tracks, over fifteen years.
Built for Indian students
Faith formed around the real pressures of Indian Christian life — minority identity, the pluralist neighbourhood, the question of belonging. For families across the diaspora, the same roots, wherever they have made their home.
Built for real churches
Designed for the church as it actually exists — the volunteer teacher, the mixed-age class, the limited resources. Not for the 'ideal' Sunday School, but for the real one.

The full breadth of Christian formation
Not just Bible stories — but doctrine, spiritual habits, church history, apologetics, real teen questions and much more.
Track 1 — Bible & Theology
The biblical narrative from Genesis to Revelation, a 52-question catechism, Bible study skills, memory verse, and an introduction to biblical languages for older students. The narrative and doctrinal spine of the entire curriculum — everything else grows from here.
Track 2 — Spiritual Formation
Prayer, worship, character, and church life — and for teenagers, an honest engagement with identity, social media, mental health, relationships, and exam pressure. Formation that shapes who children become, not just what they know.
Track 3 — History & Heritage
The story of the church from Jerusalem to the present — martyrs, councils, missions, and the world Christians built. Where India fits in that story, what Indian Christians have contributed, and what this generation is being asked to build next.
Track 4 — Worldview & Apologetics
For Canopy and Oaks. From "is any of this real?" to "how do I live as a citizen?" — worldview, apologetics, comparative religion, and Christian civic life in contemporary India. The track that takes seriously the world teenagers are actually inheriting.
